One of my favorite places in the whole world. Out of bounds with a 3,500 foot vertical drop to lake level which is approximately 6,000 feet. I ski here mostly alone, which if you get hurt or lose a ski, may not be the smartest move in the world.

My girlfriend took this photograph in March of 2006. (That's me on the left) I had just returned from my yearly helicopter skiing trip in British Columbia.

This may not appear to be very special but consider the fact that I'm fast-approaching my 70th birthday and like the Eagle's, I never thought I could sustain skiing at this level for so long.

Most of my friends are either dead or wish they were!

So how have I managed to do it?
